Attorney Leonard Berman of Portland, OR; ethical ogre

The state of Oregon presented Leonard R. Berman with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law.

The Oregon State Bar found Lenny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Misconduct involved selfish motive
• Violated his duty as a professional to avoid improper solicitation of employment and misleading advertisement
• Repeatedly contacted inmates at the Coffee Creek Correctional Facility to have them employ him

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Lenny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
