Attorney Edward LeClaire of Portland, OR; slacker, loser

The state of Oregon presented Edward T. LeClaire with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Eddie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to promptly deliver to client property client is entitled to receive
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Eddie!)
• Failed to notify client of his move
• Failed to respond to client attempts to contact him
• Failed to adequately communicate whit his client
• respond to Hill’s attempts to contact him, he failed to adequately communicate with his client
• Failed to provide client with client file upon termination 
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker) 

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Eddie by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Eddie practices with the Metro Public Defender Inc. at 630 SW 5^th Avenue in Portland, Oregon.
