Attorney Robert Gifford II of Oklahoma City; wife beater

The state of Oklahoma presented Robert Donald Gifford II with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from Loyola University Law School in New Orleans.

In one matter, Bobby has been accused by his wife Gloria Morey Gifford of abuse and harassment.  After twenty years of marriage, Gloria filed for a divorce.

In her request for a protective order, Gloria alleged that Bobby pushed her, knocked her down and screamed at her. She also said he has harassed her on a daily basis and attempted to steal her phone and computer.

Gloria also stated that Bobby broke into the house through the garage after she changed the locks. She further stated that he forced his way inside the house and pushed her in front of her father. She said he texted her 62 times Friday, 32 times and intentionally "fills up her voice mail.” (Nolan Clay)

Gloria’s motion for a protective order states in part: “She is truly scared for her safety if this VPO is not granted.”

All that remains now is to see if Bobby is made to answer for harassing and/or physically abusing his wife Gloria.

As we speak (ca. February 2016) Bobby continues to be employed as an assistant federal prosecutor in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
