Attorney Craig Allen of Ironton, OH; convicted of perjury

The state of Ohio presented Craig Adams Allen with a law license in 1966 after he graduated from Ohio State University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Board found Craig guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Convicted by a jury of perjury after having a client execute a false affidavit contending that the father of her children had threatened her and was armed and dangerous
  • Convicted of tampering with evidence
  • As result of false affidavit, the father was wrongfully charged with, and arrested for domestic violence
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Craig by gifting him with a complimentary 9-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Craig practices his brand of law at 311 South Third Street in Ironton, Ohio.
