The state of Ohio presented James Gerard Corrigan with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Cleveland State University School of Law.

FYI: Cleveland State University Law School is ranked as the 125^th best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Misappropriated [stole’ client funds]
• Failed to maintain adequate financial records
• Engaged in business relationships with clients
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Jimmy!)
• Failed to acknowledge wrongful nature of his conduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Jimmy.
