The state of Ohio presented James Alexander Jr. with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from Case Western University School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in the improper division of fees
• Failed to segregate client funds
• Failed to keep a record of client funds
• Failed to perform a monthly reconciliation of trust account funds
• Engaged in conduct that adversely reflects on his fitness to practice law
• Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Eric by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.
