Attorney Matthew Coxe of Jacksonville, NC; ethical elf

The state of North Carolina presented Matthew Coxe with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from Wake Forest University Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Matty guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to communicate with his court-appointed
• Neglected client’s case
• Failed to respond to numerous client phone calls
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Matty!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Matty by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2020) Matty practices at 410 New Bridge Street in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
