Attorney Jeffrey Patton of Winston Salem, NC; ethical troll 

The state of North Carolina provided Jeffrey D. Patton with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Jeff guilty of the following misconduct.

• Pursued lawsuit with no basis in fact (frivolous)
• Misrepresented facts in frivolous lawsuit
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Filed an amended complaint for the improper purpose of delaying the hearing on the opposing party's motion to dismiss the complaint

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2019) Jeff practices with Spilman Thomas & Battle PLLC at 110 Oakwood Avenue in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
