Attorney Daniel Clifton of Charlotte; slacker

The state of North Carolina presented Daniel J. Clifton with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from Golden Gate University Law School in San Francisco.

The North Carolina State Bar Grievance Committee found Danny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to respond to discovery requests from opposing counsel
• Failed to advise client of client’s scheduled deposition
• Failed to attend deposition of client
• Discovery abuses led trial court to dismiss client’s case with prejudice, meaning the client was forever prohibited from pursuing the matter in the future
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Danny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2016), Danny practices at 338 South Sharon Amity Road in Charlotte, North Carolina.
