Attorney Paul Erickson of Asheville, NC; lying loser

The state of North Ccrolina presented Paul L. Erickson with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Refused to acknowledge wrongful nature of conduct
• Misconduct involved selfish or dishonest motive
• Defended litigation based on false grounds
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Victim of misconduct was vulnerable
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Failed to abide by client decisions
• Pursued a frivolous claim
• Failed to display candor in dealings with tribunal
• Knowingly made a false statement of material fact
• Improperly accepted payment of fees from someone other than client
• Intentionally prejudiced or damaged client during course of representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary 5-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2016) Paulie practices at 604 Vista View Drive in Asheville, North Carolina.
