Attorney John Frue of Asheville, NC; ethical gremlin

The state of North Carolina presented John C. Frue with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Mercer University Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• For at least three years neglected to ensure that title insurance premiums were disbursed from his trust account
• Neglected to pay prior mortgages and other obligations in timely manner
• Disbursed more funds from trust account then he received from his clients
• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Failed to perform quarterly reconciliations of trust account

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2015) Johnny practices at 20 Battery Park Avenue in Asheville, North Carolina.
