Attorney Betsey Butler of Nags Head, NC; ethical dwarf

The state of North Carolina provided Betsy S. Butler with a law license in 1987 after she graduated from the University of Richmond Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Betsy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to perform quarterly reconciliations
• Failed to properly document sources of deposits
• Failed to provide NSF (rubber checks) to her banks
• Failed to properly supervise office staff

As a consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Betsy by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2016) Betsy practices in Nags Head, North Carolina.
