Attorney Scott Marcin of West Seneca, NY; ethical troll

The state of New York presented Scott D. Marcin with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Cleveland Marshall University School of Law.

The Appellate Division Grievance Committee found Scotty guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, dishonesty, deceit, or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to maintain client funds in separate account
• Failed to maintain complete records
• Failed to render appropriate accountings of funds received

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Scotty by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license. 

As we speak (ca. November 2023), Scotty practices his so-called brand of law at 976 Union Road in West Seneca, New York.
