Attorney Scott Gilly of New York City; scamming liar

The state of New York presented Scott B. Gilly with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from Catholic University School of Law.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Scotty guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Used false and misleading expert report on economic damages to extract a favorable settlement
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Misled District Court as to certain events relating to settlement matter
  • Failed to be honest when dealing with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Scotty!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Standards Committee punished Scotty by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2020), Scotty practices with Scott Browning Gilly PLLC at 510 5th Avenue in New York, New York.
