Attorney B. Kevin Burke Jr. of Buffalo, NY; convicted tax cheat

The state of New York presented B. Kevin Burke Jr. with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from George Washington University School of Law.

The Departmental Disciplinary Committee of the Fourth Judicial District found Kevin guilty of the following misconduct.

• Pled guilty to attempted repeated failure to file income tax returns, a Class A misdemeanor
• Admitted ailed to file state income tax returns for three (3) years with the intent to evade payment of income taxes for three consecutive years in which he had an unpaid tax liability

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Committee punished Kevin by gifting him with a  complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license effective June 29, 2018.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Kevin will resume his practice of law in June 2019 at 43 Essex Street in Buffalo, New York.
