Attorney Jonathan Fisher of New York City; ethical gremlin

The state of New York presented Jonathan Bruce Fisher with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Boston University Law School.

The 1^st Department Disciplinary Board found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

1. Failed to keep a proper ledger for client funds
2. Improperly used his escrow account as a personal and business account
3. Failed to safeguard escrow funds entrusted to him as a fiduciary
4. Improperly issued checks payable to "cash" from his escrow account
5. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
6. Commingled client funds with personal funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Department Disciplinary Board punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
