Attorney Peter Galasso of Garden City, NY; ethical gremlin

The state of New York presented Peter John Galasso with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from Boston University Law School.

The Departmental Disciplinary Committee found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to promptly pay funds owing to clients or others
• Failure to supervise employee led to theft of client funds
• Failed to timely cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Pete!)
• Failed to provide appropriate accountings to clients
• Uniquely enriched due to misappropriation (theft) of client funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Disciplinary Commission punished Pete by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2015), Pete practices with Catterson & Lofrumento LLP at 377 Oak Street in Garden City, New York.
