The state of New Mexico presented Gene N. Chavez with a law license in 1970

The New Mexico Disciplinary Board found Gene guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in multiple acts of dishonesty
• Failed to competently represent clients (Moron)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Placed unreasonable limitations on scope of legal representation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Mexico Supreme Court punished Gene by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. September 2014) Gene practices with Chavez Law Offices PA at 1220 Fifth Street NW in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
