Attorney G. Paul Howes of Albuquerque, NM; ethical ogre

The state of New Mexico presented G. Paul Howes with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law. Paulie also received a law license from the District of Columbia.

The New Mexico Disciplinary Board found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improperly communicated with a party represented by counsel
• Had inappropriate contacts with a defendant on at least six (6) separate occasions and on numerous other occasions through an intermediary (detective)
• Conduct undermined the public trust
• Refuses to acknowledge wrongful nature of his conduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Mexico Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary censure and assessed disciplinary costs of $8,663.52.  

As we speak (ca. August 2020), Paulie practices at 1726 Chacoma Place SW in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
