Attorney Robert E. Rothman of Englewood, NJ; convicted felon

The state of New York presented Robert E. Rothman with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from Rutgers University School of Law.

The First Department Grievance Committee found Bobby guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Pled guilty to one count of Sherman Act conspiracy
  • Bobby and his cohorts submitted non-competitive and collusive bids at public auctions
  • for tax liens to suppress and eliminate competition in the bidding process in various New
  • Jerseymunicipalities
  • Bobby and his co-conspirators’ combination and conspiracy were in unreasonable restraint of interstate trade and commerce

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2022), Bobby practices his so-called brand of law at 409 Grand Avenue in Englewood, New Jersey.
