Attorney Maria Yelland of Mercerville, NJ; ethical goblin

The state of New Jersey presented Maria A. Yelland with a law license in 194 after she graduated from Rutgers University School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Maria guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to return documents to a client in a bankruptcy matter
• Failed to keep an estate client informed of status of matter
• Exhibited gross negligence
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Maria!)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Maria by gifting her with a complimentary censure.   

As we speak (ca. July 2020) Maria practices with Maria Yelland Young LLC at 2667 Nottingham Way in Mercerville, New Jersey.
