Attorney Linda De Brango of Old Bridge, NJ; ethical goblin

The state of New Jersey presented Linda De Brango with a law license in 1988 after she graduated from Rutgers University School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Patty guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to appear at bankruptcy hearing on client’s behalf
• Failed to take advantage of financial assistance that client’s daughter offered, both prior to , and after, the sheriff’s ale of his client’s home
• Misconduct resulted in significant harm to client
• Engaged in gross neglect

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Linda by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
