Attorney Stephen Brown of West Orange, NJ; ethical leprechaun

The state of New Jersey presented Stephen Darryl Brown with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct

• Engaged in gross neglect
• Negligently misappropriated (stole) client funds
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Engaged in recordkeeping violations
• Failed to adequately supervise office staff
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. July 2016) Stevie practices in West Orange, New Jersey.
