Attorney Anthony Carracino of Kenilworth, NJ; ethical troll, serial offender

 

The state of New Jersey  presented Anthony Frederick Carracino with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from Rutgers University School of Law.

 

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Tony guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Tony’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Tony!)
  • Made a false statement of fact
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in gross neglect of client matters

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Tony by gifting him  with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Tony’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

                                                                                                           

  • Failed to reduce fee agreement to writing
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Tony by gifting him  with a complimentary admonition.

 

Tony’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Engaged in improper business transaction with a client
  • Formed law partnership with a nonlawyer
  • Practiced law in the form of a professional corporation or association in which a nonlawyer had an interest and/or control
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Tony!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Tony by gifting him  with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

 

Tony’s 4th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Failed to advise client that her case had been dismissed by the trial court for lack of prosecution

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Tony by gifting him  with a complimentary admonition.
