The state of New Hampshire presented Paul F. Coddington Jr. with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from the University of New Hampshire Law School.

 

The Board of Bar Overseers found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Paulie!)
  • Numerous financial irregularities in firm’s trust account
  • Failed to perform monthly reconciliations of trust accounts
  • Used firm funds to pay personal expenses
  • Violated or attempted to Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to maintain client ledgers
  • Failed to maintain running balance for each client
  • Failed to safeguard client property

As a consequence of his misconduct his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Conduct Committee punished Paulie by gifting him with complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.
