The state of New Hampshire provided Nancy Sternberg Tierney with a law license in 1978 after she graduated from the University of New Hampshire Law School.

The Professional Conduct Committee on Professional Standardfound Nancy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Failed to file objections/pleadings per federal court rules
• Failed to pursue available remedies to client’s detriment
• Failed to forward important documents to client
• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on The Professional Conduct Committee on Professional Standard punished Nancy by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Professional Conduct Committee didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Nancy.
