Attorney Joel Phillips of Wallace, NE; ethical misfit

The state of Nebraska presented Joel W. Phillips with a law license in 1995.

Disciplinary Counsel found Joel guilty of the following misconduct.

• Knowingly violated his oath of office
• Engaged in attempting to sell real estate despite not being licensed to do so
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Joel!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nebraska Supreme Court punished Joel by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2015), Joel practices with The Phillips Law Office at 317 South Schiller Avenue in Wallace, Nebraska.
