Attorney Erik Moore of Billings; convicted felon

The state of Montana presented Erik Michael Moore with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from the University of Wyoming Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel of Montana (ODC)  found Erik guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Erik was charged with two felony counts of criminal endangerment and misdemeanor DUI. The charges came about after he was arrested by a Montana trooper after receipt of a report of a drunk driver on Laurel Airport Road.

The endangerment charge came about because Erik had his two children, ages 6 and 10 in the car while he was driving drunk.

Subsequently, Erik pleaded guilty to the criminal charges and was sentenced to service concurrent three-year deferred sentences on the felony charges.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Montana Supreme Court punished Erik by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. March 2014), Eric practices at 207 North Broadway Street in Billings, Montana.
