Attorney Jeffrey Mora of Great Falls, MT; ethical troll

The state of Montana presented Jeffrey D. Mora with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the University of Montana School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel of Montana (ODC) found Jeff guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to maintain a notary journal memorializing the signing of documents and authentication of signatures
• Notarized documents that were not signed in his presence, including documents purportedly baring the signatures of the members of his law firm
• Acted dishonestly and in violation of his notary certificate which required the personal presence of the
• Affixed his notarial seal, certificate, and signature on documents that were either unsigned (to be signed by the signatory at a later time) or already bared the purported signatures of the members of the LLC, including personal guarantees by the members of promissory notes obtained for the firm
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Montana Supreme Court punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. May 2020), Jeff practices at 104 2^nd Street in Great Falls, Montana.
