The state of Montana presented Tina L. Morin with a law license in 1992 after she graduated from the University of Montana School of Law.

 

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel of Montana found Tina guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Responses to ethics investigators was viewed as after-the-fact justifications or excuses that were not supported by the record
  • Failed to exhibit any remorse or accept responsibility for misconduct
  • Actions reflected disrespect for basic tenets of honesty and courtesy
  • Repeatedly filed multiple pleadings seeking the same relief
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to disclose to the district court, or anyone else, that she had already arranged for another lawyer to represent her client
  • Conduct displayed a determination to accomplish her goals by any means, including unethical ones
  • Effort to explain her conduct was not credible [BS or false]
  • Knowingly assisted or induced another attorney into violating the Rules of Professional Conduct
  • Communicated about subject of a representation with a person that Tina knew to be represented by another attorney

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Montana Supreme Court punished Tina by gifting her with a complimentary 7-month suspension of her law license.

 

As we speak (ca. September 2019), Tina practices at 125 West Granite Street in Butte, Montana.
