Attorney Kristian Oyen of Savage, MN; moron, serial offender

The state of Minnesota presented Kristian Lee Oyen with a law license in 2006.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Kristian guilty of the following misconduct.

Kristian’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

• Engaged in sexual relations with client
• Failed to act with due diligence in 3 client matters (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with clients
• Failed to return client files after being fired

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Kristian by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

Kristian’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

• Failed to act competently (moron)
• Failed to abide by rules of court
• Failed to return client property after being fired
• Failed to refund unearned retainer fee (cheater)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with clients

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Kristian by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Kristian’s 3^rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Engaged in pattern of failing to appear at court scheduled hearings
• Failed to act competently (moron)
• Engaged in negligent conduct
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Kristian by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.
