The State of Michigan provided Elaine Fieldman with a law license in 1976.
Elaine was a member of the disciplinary panel that was involved in investigating and punishing attorney Jeff Van Treese for misconduct.

As a consequence of his felonious conviction, the disciplinary panel punished Van Treese by revoking his law license. However, Elaine the Apologist voted against the revocation and stated that he should have only received a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. October 2013) Elaine practices at 2738 Turtle Ridge Drive in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan which is an upscale suburb of Detroit.
