Attorney David Dunn of Detroit; ethical gremlin

The state of Michigan provided David B. Dunn with a law license in 2001.

The Attorney Discipline Board, Tri-County Hearing Panel #27 found David guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Engaged in a blatant conflict of interest
  2. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  3. Unlawfully interfered with an opposing party’s access to information
  4. Conduct exposed legal profession/courts to contempt or reproach
  5. Engaged in conduct contrary to justice, ethics, or good morals
  6. Failed to respond to ethics complaint (Up Yours, said David!)
In one mater, David represented a client charged with felony murder. David also represented a second client charged with armed robbery, but who was also a named witness in the felony murder case that David was defending.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished David by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2013), David practices at 1274 Library Street in Detroit, Michigan.
