Attorney Toi Thomas of Southfield, MI; drunken convict

The state of Michigan presented Toi Jasmin Thomas with a law license in 2018 after she graduated the Western Michigan University Thomas Cooley School of Law.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #55 found Toi guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Convicted by jury of Driving under the Influence (DUI), 2^nd offense
• Failed to comply with a monitoring agreement she entered into with the Lawyers and Judges Assistance Program in January 2020
• Engaged in conduct that violated a criminal law of a state or of the United States, an ordinance, or tribal law
• Engaged in conduct that is contrary to justice, ethics, honesty, or good morals

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Michigan Supreme Court punished Eldon by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand and assessed costs of $1,128.80.

As we speak (ca. November 2023), Toi practices her so-called brand of law with  Foster Swift Collins & Smith PCat 28411 Northwestern Highway in Southfield, Michigan.
