Attorney Walter Czeizler of Livonia, MI; ethical gremlin

The state of Michigan presented Timothy Thomas Doty II with a law license in 1965 after he graduated from the Wayne State University School of Law.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #63 found Walt guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Handled a legal matter without preparation adequate in the circumstances
  • Neglected a legal matte entrusted to him
  • Failed to seek the lawful objective of a client through reasonably available means
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep a client reasonably informed regarding the status of a matter
  • Failed to explain a matter to a client to the extent reasonably necessary for a client to make informed decisions regarding the representation
  • Charged and collected a clearly excessive fee (cheater)
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Walt!)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Walt by gifting him with a complimentary 180-day suspension of his law license and assessed investigative costs of $2,065.00.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Walt practices his so-called brand of law at 29200 Vassar Street in Livonia, Michigan.
