Attorney Christopher Berry of Muskegon; thieving loser

The state of Michigan presented Christopher Shea Berry with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from Wayne State University Law School.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel No. 2 found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to keep clients informed as to status of legal matter
  • Failed to explain matters to extent necessary for client to make informed decisions re: representation
  • Charged a clearly excessive fee (thief)
  • Knowingly made a false statement of material fact or law to a third person
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2018), Chris practices with Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge at 900 3rd Street in Muskegon, Michigan.
