Attorney MacKenzie Watson of Howell, MI; ethical goblin

The state of Michigan presented MacKenzie Batzer Watson with a law license in 2014 after she graduated from the University of Detroit Law School.

The Genesee County Hearing Panel #3 found MacKenzie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected client’s landlord-tenant matter
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said MacKenzie!)
• Failed to properly withdraw and terminate representation
• Failed to take appropriate steps to protect client interests upon termination

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished MacKenzie by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2018), MacKenzie practices at 115 Capri Drive in Howell, Michigan.
