Attorney Bart Frith of Vermontville, MI; slacker, loser

The state of Michigan provided Bart R. Frith with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from the University of Michigan Law School.

The Ingham County Hearing Panel #3 found Bart guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected his client’s legal matter
• Failed to consult with client upon knowing he expected assistance
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed about status of legal matter
• Failed to explain matter to client to extent necessary to permit client to make informed decisions regarding the representation
• Failed to timely seek court’s permission to withdraw from client representation
• Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client’s interests after being fired

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Hearing Panel punished Bart by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2016), Bart practices at 178 South Main Street in Vermontville, Michigan.
