Attorney Martin Buschle of Grand Rapids, MI; deceitful loser

The state of Michigan presented Benjamin F. VanGelderen with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Thomas M. Cooley School of Law.

FYI: Cooley is ranked as the worst or one of the worst law schools in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools. Proof of such a ranking is the fact that Donald Trump’s former attorney and fixer was none other than convicted felon Michael Cohen.

The Kent County Hearing Panel #3 found Marty guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Knowingly revealed a confidence or secret of a client
  • Knowingly used a confidence or secret of a client to the disadvantage of a client
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty and deceit
  • Knowingly used a confidence or secret of a client for the advantage of the lawyer or of a third person, without client consent and full disclosure
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted, or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Benny by gifting him with a complimentary 180-day suspension of his law license and assessed costs of $1,212.44.

As we speak (ca. October 2020), Marty practices his brand of law at 61 Ottawa Avenue NW in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
