Attorney Michael Golding of Southfield, MI; ethical gremlin

The state of Michigan presented Michael J. Golding with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of Detroit Law School.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #68 found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improperly entered into business transaction with client
• Failed to obtain client’s consent to obtaining loan
• Engaged in conduct exposing legal profession to contempt

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2015), Mike practices at 24750 Lasher Road in Southfield, Michigan, which is a suburb of Detroit.
