Attorney Shawn Allyn of Holyoke, MA; ethical gnome

The state of Massachusetts presented Shawn Patrick Allyn with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the New England School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Shawn guilty of the following misconduct.

• Knew or should have known that his simultaneous representation of the adverse interests of the father in the criminal matter and the children in the civil matter could have each materially limited his representation of the other
• Representation of both parties was a conflict of interest

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Shawn by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.  

As one would suspect, Shawn fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.allynandball.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients to assure that he would not limit her future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. November 2019) Shawn practices with Allyn & Ball PC at 480 Hampden Street in Holyoke, Massachusetts.
