Attorney Sonya Hamlin of Glenn Dale, MD; moronic loser

The state of Maryland presented Sonya Nicole Hamlin with a law license in 1997 after she graduated from American University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Sonya guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to adequately communicate with her clients
• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Failed to communicate to her clients the scope of the representation
• Failed to advise her client the basis or rate of the fee and expenses for which her clients would be responsible before or within a reasonable time after commencing the representation
• Failed to deposit unearned funds into an attorney trust account
• Represented a client when the representation would result in violation of the Maryland Attorneys’ Rules of Professional Conduct
• Engaged in the illegal practice of law in DC where she was not licensed to practice
• Failed to maintain required financial records of the attorney trust account

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Sonya by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2022), Sonya practices her so-called brand of law at 5205 Davenport Court in Glenn Dale, Maryland.
