Attorney Bebe George of Timonium, MD; ethical goblin

The state of Maryland presented Bebe Violet George with a law license in 1981 after she graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Bebe guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Named herself and her legal assistant as beneficiaries of IRAs, annuities and other benefits of a client’s estate to whom she was not related

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Bebe by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
