Attorney John Shin of Columbia, MD; moronic slacker

The state of Maryland presented John Douglas Shin with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Johnny’s paralegal filled out, submitted, and signed Respondent’s name on immigration forms containing inaccurate information, and as a result, the clients’ permanent legal residency applications were denied

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As one would suspect, Johnny fails to mention the above misconduct on his self-serving website at www.shinlegal.com.   Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Johnny practices with Shin Legal LLC at 10440 Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia, Maryland.
