Attorney Brian Brown of Baltimore, MD; moronic slacker

The District of Columbia provided Brian S. Brown with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Brian guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Intentionally failed to pursue clients’ lawful objectives
  • Failed to communicate with clients
  • Failed to properly explain matters to clients
  • For over three years failed to take any action on client matter
  • Client suffered because he had to wait more than one year to receive $100,000 settlement proceeds
  • Brian and firm paid $200,000 to settle legal malpractice claims involving Brian’s incompetence

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeals punished Brian by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2019), Brian practices at 7 Saint Paul Street in Baltimore, Maryland.
