Attorney JoAnna Esty of Middle River, MD; ethical goblin

The state of Maryland presented JoAnna M. Esty with a law license in 1982 after she graduated from the University of Baltimore Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found JoAnna guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to recognize that her representation of one or more clients would be materially limit her responsibilities to another client
• Failed to obtain Orphan Court’s approval prior to make periodic distributions of estate funds creating a conflict of interest

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished JoAnna by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2019) JoAnna practices with the Majesty Law Group PLC at 1216 Shore Road in Middle River, Maryland.
