Attorney Jeffrey Davidson of Machias, ME; ethical dwarf

The state of Maine presented Jeffrey W. Davidson with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) of Law School.

The Maine Board of Overseers found Jeff guilty of the following misconduct.

Jeff’s misconduct involved a courthouse encounter he had with Lt. Mary Zidalis of the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.

During the encounter Jeff made comments to Lt. Zidalis 45 minutes before she testified in a case in which Jeff was defending a Washington Count jail inmate accused of assaulting a fellow inmate. Just before the start of the criminal trial as Lt. Zidalis walked by Jeff, he asked her, “Have you ever been raped”?  She responded that his question was a personal question. Jeff then said, “Well, get ready because today will be your first time.”

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maine Board of Overseers punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. .
