Attorney Scott Giese of Old Orchard Beach, ME; thieving slacker

The state of Georgia presented Scott David Giese a law license in 2008 after he graduated from Florida Coastal University Law School.

The Maine Board of Bar Overseers found Scottie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected client legal matters
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with clients
• Charged a clearly excessive fee (thief)
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to safeguard client funds/property
• Made improper contact with person represented by counsel
• Engaged pursuing frivolous claims

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maine Supreme Court punished Scottie by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2018), Scottie practices at 46B Adelaide in Old Orchard Beach, Maine.
