Attorney Amanda Clark of Baton Rouge, LA; ethical gremlin

 

The state of Louisiana presented Amanda G. Clarkwith a law license in 1996 after she graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Law.

 

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Juan guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Refused to acknowledge wrongful nature of her misconduct
  • Intentionally failed to comply with the rules or orders of disciplinary agency (Up yours, said Amanda!)
  • Misconduct involved dishonesty or selfish motive
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Engaged in bad faith obstruction of disciplinary proceeding (Screw you, said Amanda!)
  • Victims of misconduct were vulnerable
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Neglected client legal matters
  • Failed to communicate with her client
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of litigation
  • Failed to timely file appeal from adverse judgment in client litigation
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Abandoned client litigation without protecting the client’s interests

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Amanda by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license.  

 

As we speak (ca. September 2022,) Amanda practices her so-called brand of law at 5555 Sandalwood Drive in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
