Attorney Michael Barry of New Orleans; lying loser

The state of Louisiana presented Michael F. Barry with a law license in 1968 after he graduated from Loyola University School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Mikey!)
  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct and/or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Made a false statement of material fact in disciplinary proceeding (Screw you, said Mikey!)
  • Failed to protect client interests upon termination
  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2019) Mikey practices at 650 Poydras Street in New Orleans, Louisiana.
